The Apple TV is one of the most powerful and versatile streaming media players (along with the Roku). Besides the usual content such as Netflix, Shomi, CraveTV, the Apple TV can also easily stream rented or purchased movies and TV shows from Apple's iTunes Store. Apple TV also supports AirPlay, which allows other Apple devices to directly stream audio, video, photos, and your desktop. The latest version of Apple TV, the 4th generation model, adds supports for a third-party app store. This opens up the Apple TV to support games with its new touch, motion, and voice sensitive (Siri) controller.
