Shudder beta has launched

Shudder, the horror movie streaming service, is creeping in to Canada. They have begun to send out beta invitations to those that have signed up. They promise the public launch will be in a couple of weeks (no doubt ahead of Halloween).

Shudder has collection of about 200 horror movies that are searchable, or browsable across categories covering the likes of vampires, aliens, and mad scientists.

Currently, in its beta launch in Canada, movies can only be viewed in a web browser, but iOS, Android, and Roku apps will soon become available in the respective app stores.

Streaming plans are $4.99/month or $49.99/year.
