Where to watch the 2016 Roots miniseries

The 2016 remake of the 1977 miniseries Roots has generated a lot of talk online. Airing on four channels in the US (A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, and Lifetime Movie Network), Canadians are wondering what channel they can watch Roots on.

In Canada, you can watch Roots on A&E (if you are cable subscriber). If you don't subscribe to cable, Roots will be on CraveTV this fall.
