Watch full City TV episodes without cable

You might have seen the ads saying that you can watch full episodes of the latest City tv shows for free online and through the City Video app, but haven't yet given it a try?  This quick guide tells you all you need to know to get you started.

What devices can I watch CityTV video on?

You can watch shows on, and through the City Video app on Android and iOS.  There is currently no support on streaming boxes such as Apple TV or Roku, nor on gaming consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation.

What shows are available to watch?

Many of the shows that air on City are available, but not all.

The Primetime shows available include 2 Broke Girls, Blackish, Bob's Burgers, Bordertown, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Cooper Barrett's Guide To Surviving Life, Family Guy, Grandfathered, Hell's Kitchen, Life in Pieces, Meet the Family, Mike & Molly, Modern Family, Mom, Mr. D, New Girl, Package Deal, Scorpion, Seed, Storage Wars Canada, Sunnyside, The Bachelor, The Grinder, The Last Man On Earth, The Middle, The Mindy Project, The Muppets, Undateable, Vice On City, World's Funniest, Young Drunk Punk.

Also available are daytime episodes of Breakfast Television, Cityline, Entertainment City, General Hospital, Let's Make a Deal, The Chew, The Price is Right; kids shows CityKids, Doowett, Space Stretch;  late night show Electric Playground; and returning soon are Between and Wayward Pines.

When do episodes appear online?

Episodes appear on and are available in the City Video app the day following the broadcast.  This makes it a convenient way to catch up on shows you might have missed the previous night.

How long are episodes available?

Episodes remain available for watching for about two weeks after the original air date.  That means this service is convenient for catching up on episodes that you might have missed, but is not a means to binge watch a season of a show.

Anything else to know?

Naturally, this free service is supported by ads.  The only other concern is that the streaming quality can be a little fickle.  The video tends to be highly compressed, and may not be up to the quality standards of streaming services like Netflix.

This can be a convenient way to catch an episode yof a show you might have missed.  No login or sign up is required, and many quality shows are available.  However, this won't satisfy your binging itch.  Only the latest episodes are available, and the compatible ways to watch are limited.
